Businessman and political donor Bobby Joslin hosted his annual fish fry Thursday at his eponymous sign business on Murfreesboro Pike.
In attendance were a who’s who of local politicos and government officials of both parties, from former Gov. Bill Haslam to current and former Mayors Bill Purcell, Megan Barry and Freddie O’Connell. Also on hand were Republican state legislative candidates Chad Bobo and Laura Nelson, various Metro department heads and elected officials, Tennessee Titans GM Ran Carthon, lobbyists and state transportation commissioner and deputy governor Butch Eley.
Joslin welcomed Metro Councilmember Courtney Johnston, whose primary challenge of U.S. Rep. Andy Ogles he is supporting, with a prominent – you guessed it – sign.
